MLB regular season
What is MLB regular season in baseball?
The regular season is the hottest and most likable period in this sport. It covers the period from the early days of April to the end of September or the first Saturday of October. Teams play 162 games during these months. One team hosts all three games in the series. Sometimes it may be one to six games due to the chances of interruptions. There is a traditional break in July for the MLB draft and All-Star game.
The National and American leagues have separate calendars. As there is an odd number of teams there, each week contains the interleague game. The commission decided that this schedule formula is more effective than the calendar when one or more teams have the day off.
