Roids
Let’s discuss baseball and steroids. In baseball, “roids” usually mean anabolic steroids. Players have used these performance-enhancing medications to improve.
The “Steroids Era” in Major League Baseball (MLB) is connected with steroid usage. During this period, from the late 1980s to the late 2000s, many players were suspected of using performance-enhancing substances. This enhanced offensive production throughout the game.
MLB outlawed steroids in 1991, but PED testing began in 2003. Players taking PEDs were unlikely to be discovered due to a lack of testing. After years of suspicions, a federal investigation into The Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative (BALCO), which supplied supplements to many big leaguers, and Jose Canseco’s book “Juiced” exposed baseball’s widespread PED usage.
Some baseball players utilize anabolic steroids to improve their performance. However, using such drugs is illegal and may result in suspensions and other punishments. Clean, fair play is the spirit of the game.
