What is called “X-cuts”?
What is meant by X-cuts in basketball?
X-Cuts refer to two players who make cuts across the key, passing each other before they finish their cut. For example, a team may have a player lined up on one block and another player on the same side of the key at the elbow. The two players would then cut towards the opposite outside of the key with the player who started on the block cutting towards the opposite elbow while the player who started on the elbow cutting across the key towards the opposite block.
