Zipper Cut

With a zipper cut, the player cuts from the corner or low post to the top of the key (usually from the center of the lane). If a player cuts from a corner spot, that player will usually cut under the low post player to the top of the key. If a player cuts from the low post spot, that player will usually cut directly towards the center of the lane to the top of the key.

The zipper cut occurs in many different types of offenses including the motion offense and flex offense.
