Helmet-to-helmet collision

This collision is hazardous due to the force of the contact. It’s a penalty on all levels, from high school to the NFL. Major leagues implemented a tougher stance relating to these collisions because of US Congress hearings about frequent concussions and cases of encephalopathy among players. • As of 1996, the National Football League changed the helmet-to-helmet collision aftermaths for participants. The initiator adds the personal foul in the protocol plus a fine for such conduct.
