Interrupted game
The league or referees sometimes interrupt the game based on different reasons. Except for indoor game cases, the sport depends on the weather. Heavy rain or fog, which reduces visibility, is the most frequent reason for the interruption.
Another problem is much rare. These are the technological or natural disasters killing many people. Thus, the referees interrupt the game to pay tribute to the disaster victims and reschedule its resuming later. They freeze the score and game clock at that moment. The tickets are eligible for those who want to see the continuation later.
Other exotic reasons may be the air strike threat or military actions that started during the game. The decision about the game’s future depends on the development of the emergency—for example, the game resumes after the air strike threat disappears.
Sometimes the fans conduct themselves like animals. They cause a threat to the players and officials, so the referee will immediately stop the game. It may resume after the conflict ends, but the disciplinary committee penalizes the home team up to technical loss or suspends its participation in the contest.
