Punt resulted a touchback

The punt results in a touchback if the receiving team downs the ball in the end zone. Any advancing beyond the goal line is impossible. The receivers can try to rush the ball into the field of play. So, if the ball stays partly or whole inside the end zone, it’s a touchback. But if the kicking team’s participant recovers the ball in the end zone and downs it there, it’s a touchdown.
