Two-level defense

The two-level defense is any formation based on two layers instead of three. It lays in canceling of the contain unit in favor of increased forcing or underneath department. The higher number of linebackers and stronger defensive linemen replace defensive backs. Their offensive opponents need to fake some plays or choose tricky methods to counteract these types of routes. The alternative is to use routes closer to the sidelines, but this method is dangerous because of the risk of going out the bounds.
