Clean tackle
What is a clean tackle?
What is meant by a clean tackle in football?
Clean tackle means taking the ball from someone without it being a foul. The quickest way for any soccer player to prove themselves worthy of the game is to be an aggressive and clean tackler. It is quite common among the beginners to focus mainly on dribbling, shooting and passing and generally these players have the tendency to ignore learning how to make a clean tackle. Making a clean tackle is considered to be a very important skill irrespective of the position you play.
Tackling is not just a skill-based mission. It is entirely up to the desperateness and desire of the player for the ball. In simple words, the one who is more desperate gets the ball. All the right and the best tackles need to be hard and aggressive. A player cannot remind themselves of the right technique in the middle of the game. The trick must be implemented automatically and instinctually. This is possible only by consistently practicing the tackling techniques during warn up sessions and drills.
