Comeback
What is a comeback in football?
What does it mean to make a comeback?
How often do comebacks happen?
A comeback is a situation in football where one of the teams loses, but ends up winning back.
In football, an advantage of 2 or more goals is already serious. If the losing team manages to recoup from such a score, then it’s usually said that they made a comeback. In the history of football, there are cases when teams played a difference of 3-4 goals. Comeback often occurs in the second half. If a team played poorly in the first game and missed a lot of goals, this does not mean that all is lost for them. The second half of the game can often, if not radically change the course of the game, then at least bring back the intrigue.
Viewers always like comebacks because it means a lot of goals in a match and maximum intrigue.
