NF-Bord
The N.F.-Board was a federation of football associations established on December 12, 2003. It was an organization that aimed to represent and organize international football for teams that were not members of FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) or did not have full FIFA membership. The N.F.-Board provided an alternative platform for these non-FIFA affiliated teams to participate in international competitions and friendlies.
The N.F.-Board organized tournaments like the VIVA World Cup, which featured teams representing various regions, minority groups, and unrecognized or self-governing territories. It provided these teams with opportunities to showcase their talent on an international stage, even if they were not recognized by FIFA.
It’s important to note that the N.F.-Board was separate from FIFA and operated independently. However, in 2013, the organization decided to merge with the Confederation of Independent Football Associations (ConIFA), which had a similar mission of providing football opportunities for teams outside of FIFA’s structure.
