Seating plan of the Citizens Bank Park

Diamond Club

The best seats at a Phillies game are located in sections A-G directly behind home plate at field level. These seven ultra-premium sections give fans surreal views of the field and some of the best amenities in the ballpark.

Diamond Club seating includes in-seat wait service and access to the climate-controlled Diamond Club Lounge. Inside the lounge you’ll find upscale bistro dining options, full-service bars, flat-screen televisions, and private concession and merchandise stands. Diamond Club ticketholders will also have access to the Hall of Fame Club on the second level where they can check out Cooperstown Gallery.

Hall of Fame Club

Located along the infield on the second deck of Citizens Bank Park are the Hall of Fame Club seats. Ticketholders will enjoy the game from a wider, padded seat with additional legroom. These are also some of the smallest sections in the ballpark, allowing for an easy retreat to the club concourse.

After entering through private entrances, the exclusive club concourse features access to climate-controlled lounge ares, bistro-style dining, private concessions and two full-service bars. Club seatholders will also be granted access to the Cooperstown Gallery – a tribute to Philadelphia baseball legends.

Best Seats for Great Views of the Field at Citizens Bank Park

If the budget allows, you can find some of the very best views for a Phillies games in the premium Diamond Club seats located directly behind home plate. You will have unbeatable views of the batters box and on-deck circles, while having a straight away line of sight to the majority of the action which even lets you closely follow pitches as they break across the plate.

In-seat wait service is an additional perk which keeps you in your seat rather than making trips to the concourse for food and beverage. We prefer sitting a bit higher here to provide a more expansive range of vision, and recommend opting for seats in rows 12 and higher of Diamond Club sections C, D, and E.

For a more affordable option on the lower seating tier, great views can also be found in the sections near the dugouts down the first and third base lines. Rows 15-30 give you a good seating height for seeing almost any area on the field in sections 115-117 and 130-132, and also keep you closer to the top of the section where the concourse entry tunnels are located.

Seats in the single digit rows get you impressively close to the infield, but walks to the concourse for food and beverage will keep you away from your seat for a while due to the longer walk. To limit the impact of the netting behind home plate while staying as close to home plate as possible, opt for section 114 or 133.

With prime seating height and amazing sight lines, its hard not to love the 200 level sections for watching a Phillies game at Citizens Bank Park. Although for those who want to spend as much time as possible in the actual seats rather than walking to and from the concourse, you will want to think twice about seats in sections directly behind home plate.

Concourse entryways are non-existent between sections 219-224, so a trip to the restroom means a good amount time away from the action on the field. Instead, opt for seats in sections 217-218 or 226-227 which still have excellent angles to the field while keeping you closer to the amenities on the concourse.

Further down the third base line on the 200 level, you can find excellent value on seats with great views in sections 233-235. You’ll have the same optimal viewing height from the ballpark’s second seating tier, and the great part about these seats is the angle of seats which has you perfectly facing the middle of the diamond. As these sections are on the west side of the ballpark, you’ll also have much less time with the sun in your eyes compared to fans sitting down the first base line. Small seating sections here also helps with shorter trips to the restrooms and concessions.

If you are searching for Phillies tickets on a budget and find yourself limited to the upper deck, you will want to target options on the 300 level as the higher 400 level seats have more of a birds eye view and more railings to contend with. Some of the better options on the 300 deck are sections 324-326, which keep you close to the infield, face the heart of the diamond, and also put the sun at your back sooner for a day game at Citizens Bank Park.

Public Transportation/SEPTA

SEPTA’s Broad Street Line drops you steps from Citizens Bank Park. Trains run every 8 to 10 minutes. It takes about 11 minutes to travel from City Hall to AT&T Station on a local train. Immediately following the end of the game, fans can find northbound trains waiting to provide local and express service back towards Center City and Fern Rock Transportation Center.

All Regional Rail Lines, the Market-Frankford Line, PATCO and many trolley and bus routes provide convenient connections with the Broad Street Line. Free weekend parking is available at most Regional Rail lots. You can also travel to Citizens Bank Park via SEPTA Bus Routes 4 and 17.

One way fare on the Broad Street Line is $2.50 cash. You must have exact change if paying the cashier. The cashier cannot make change. Quick Trips are available from Fare Kiosks located in every station on the Broad Street Line. The kiosks accept credit/debit cards and cash [no exact change needed!]. Note, a Quick Trip is a one-way ticket, good for 24 hours..

Your best bet, is a SEPTA Key Card. Like a Quick Trip, it is also available from the Fare Kiosks but unlike a Quick Trip, it is reloadable and reusable – making it good all season. The SEPTA Key Travel Wallet allows you to pay as you go and you’ll receive a discount for each ride ($2.00 versus the $2.50 cash fare). It’s just like using a token without all that heavy metal in your pocket or purse, and it’s certainly much better than paying with cash.

Register your SEPTA Key at https://www.septakey.org/ in case you lose it – and while you’re there set up auto reload so your SEPTA Key is ready to go all season long! Please note, funds in your Travel Wallet can only be used to pay for one (1) person. It cannot be tapped multiple times to pay for anyone traveling with you.

Best part – your SEPTA Key gets you more than just a ride. Flash it for discounts at the Phillies Majestic Clubhouse Store and McFadden’s Ballpark Restaurant & Saloon! Visit ISEPTAPHILLY.COM/PERKS for details.

And don’t forget the most obvious Pass Perk – riding SEPTA is flat-out convenient.
