Both are within walking distance of the arena, so you can save on parking. Nearby attractions are the Camelback Ranch, which offers much more than baseball events, and the University of Phoenix Stadium, which offers tours.

The fans

Hockey fans have long criticized Phoenix as an “unconventional” hockey town. It is true that there are not so many youth or youth hockey teams in the zone. However, Phoenix has a large number of grafts that have moved from “traditional” hockey cities to avoid cruel winters in their retirement years. It is these transplants that form the fan base for the team. They are very knowledgeable about the game and very loyally support the coyotes. The weak point of this situation is that they support their former teams from their hometown when they come to the city. The common thread for the entire base of coyote fans is that LA Kings is their main competitor. It is too early to say, but the new Vegas Golden Knights can also become a fierce competitor because of their relatively close proximity.

Coyote fans have been eager for the winner since they have been in the NHL playoffs only 5 times since the team was formed in 1996. The farthest the team has ever reached is the finals of the Western Division.

They work hard to rekindle fans — Coyote Howler and members of Patrol Lap.

Additionally

Gila River has hosted most of the major musical acts in Phoenix since its opening. The talented performers include Prince, Rod Stewart, Britney Spears, Toby Keith, Asher, U2, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Eagles and Taylor Swift.

Other special events at the facility include the PBR rodeo championships, WWE Raw matches, shows figure skating performances and Cirque de Soliel.

Coyote Honor Ring members include Teppo Numminem, Keith Tkachuk, Jeremy Roenick, and former co-owner and trainer Wayne Gretzky.

Coyotes have their craft brew. It is called “Yotes Pale Ale” and is available in the arena and around the city.
