How to Use the Set Point Strategy?

Tennis is a very fruitful game for creating different strategies. Despite the fact that among the fans on the popularity of the first is football, tennis can bring much greater profits.

How the strategy works

Really profitable are only two strategies for tennis:

  • statistical;
  • combination.

Stable income from a good strategy should be 16% of the bank. Also the advantage of tennis bets is that the number of games in them is much greater than even in football matches.

With the statistical strategy, it is very important to monitor the progress of the match. In this case, the better must record the slightest changes, both in the course of the game and in the bookmaker line, to keep track of who submitted, what results in the sets, etc. However, this may not be necessary in certain cases. For example, a tennis player came out after a serious injury and is clearly not going to play at full strength. The same situation is created if the athlete has an important game ahead of him, and he takes care of her. In this case, the main task for him is not to win, but simply to play the game. Such a game can be called an “unnecessary match”. This concept means a game in which the tennis player acts only, as they say, “for the sake of a tick”. At the same time, victory is possible even in such a match: it all depends on the morale and will of the athlete. This better should not forget and correctly assess the chances of rivals.

So, in order to maximize the rate, we calculate the number of points in each game. Let’s say that on the account of the first athlete 80 points: he becomes the winner. On the account of the second – only 70 points: this means that he loses. Further we carry out simple calculations. To calculate the approximate coefficient existing between the players, we divide the points of the winner tennis player into points of the loser: 80:70 = 1,142. This will be the average quote between the players.

Then we calculate so. We assume that the first player can score 18 points. This is the accepted constant in betting on tennis. After calculating:

18 * 1.142 = 20.55.

It turns out that the first player can score 20.55 points for this game.

Almost the same formula is needed to calculate the points of another player, but instead of multiplying we will use division:

18 / 1.142 = 15.76.

This will be the possible accumulated points per game by the second athlete.

At the next stage of the analysis it will be necessary to determine the probability of victory for both tennis players. If it turns out that your result, expressed in percentage, will exceed the bookmakers’ offers, then the bet will need to be made on the athlete with a high probability of winning.

Take for example the match where C1 and C2 will play. With the first set C1 can score 21 points. His opponent will be able to get only 17 points. We calculate interest bets.

  • Victory C1: 21 / (21 + 17) = 55.26%
  • Victory C2: 17/38 = 44.73%

Next, we determine the coefficients:

  • C1: 1 / 0.5526 = 1.81
  • C2: 1 / 0.44473 = 2.24.

After we decided on the probable quotes, we should find out what are the odds offered by bookmakers. Now we will have something to compare with. If the office for winning C1 offers quotes from 1.81 and higher, then they are more priority. Calculations show that the victory of C1 is more likely, so the bet on winning C2 with a coefficient of 2.22 is not attractive.

As feedback from betters shows, this strategy can be profitable and works in most cases.

Consider its strengths and weaknesses.

The pros and cons of the Set Point strategy

It is worth dropping any prejudices that there are no-lose strategies in the world. This can only be done by the clairvoyant, but even experienced cappers are not. Therefore, in any betting system, you can find a flaw.

The Set Point strategy is purely mathematical. This means that it takes into account only statistics and specific data about athletes, but at all avoids the human factor. It does not say anything about the need to learn the shape of the tennis player, his incentive to play, etc., and these factors are not the last. As a result, we make our bet, based only on statistics, which also can’t be done. Even if you are promised that the strategy will work 100%, you can’t believe it. The human factor can play a cruel joke, and even the strongest athlete will yield to the weaker under the influence of life circumstances.

This strategy offers the better to choose the office with the best odds. In this case, the better not only compares the quotes of various offices, but also focuses on the obtained own coefficients. If the bookmakers, where the better has an account, coefficients do not meet expectations, the better is out of strategy. If he wants to put on higher quotes, he will have to open an account in the right office, which is also very troublesome.

According to these calculations, the favorite will always leave the favorite, because these athletes have more points scored. Thus, we get a bet on the favorite, unless, of course, two equally strong teams participate in the game. Then there is a logical question: why do calculations at all, if the bookmaker and so expose the favorite, as seen from the quotes.

Of course, there are some advantages to this strategy. For example, here you do not need a thorough analysis of statistics and data retrieval: it is enough to take an account and the number of points in the games. Further calculations are made, for which, again, supermathematical abilities are not needed. How much strategy will work, each better calculates itself. Set Point is convenient in terms of a small amount of time spent on analysis, and at the same time its simplicity, which attracts even beginners.
