Fulham at the start of the season climbed quite high. The Cottagers are now in eighth place. Their position is not particularly shaken even after the second defeat in the championship, which they suffered last round by the reigning champion. Fulham has so far lost only two representatives of Manchester and each of them was able to provide worthy resistance. Mark Silva’s team are in very good shape.
Aston Villa still has only one defeat, although in all tournaments it has already managed to play 10 matches. There is no particular regression compared to last season. Villans are still not far from the top and occupy the fifth line. In parallel, they perform powerfully in the Champions League.
In all three of Fulham’s home matches, both teams scored. At Craven Cottage, Marcu Silva allows his team to play a little more relaxed. Four of Aston Villa’s five away matches have also seen both teams score.
