Heidenheim showed great efficiency at the beginning of the season, punishing their opponents for every mistake. But four defeats against strong clubs dropped them to tenth place in the table. Nevertheless, Frank Schmidt’s men have started to make fewer mistakes in their own half of the pitch, which, however, doesn’t always help them.
Hoffenheim are slowly recovering after a disastrous start and internal conflicts. The management gave Pellegrino Matarazzo three matches to rectify the situation. The players rallied around the coach and showed their best side with two wins and one draw. Moreover, with Stuttgart they missed two points in the final seconds.
