Jonathan Pearce made an impression with several bright victories in his debut fights in the UFC league. Then he slowed down and now acts as a strong middleman. Pearce has proven himself to be a master of takedowns. He does not try to work from a distance. He clinches and puts opponents on the ground. On canvas, the American is trying to achieve a ground-and-pound victory.
Hat Sabatini holds a black belt in jiu-jitsu. He is not a striker but a grappler, so takedowns are his main weapon on the court. Unlike Pearce, in the lower position, Sabatini tries not to hit with his hands but to grab the best position and control it. He is patient and finds time for a suffocating reception.
Sabatini had problems with fighters of equal class. Pearce will dominate the fight.
