According to the classics, the main battle of the tournament will feature heavyweights. The Czech Michal Martinek and Slovak Stefan Vojciak, who are of the same age, will face off against each other. It is easy to distinguish the fighters on the court, with Vojciak standing out due to his large stature. He is often referred to as “Mutant” due to his almost two-meter-tall frame, which towers over his opponents like a mountain.
Despite having significantly fewer fights than the Czech, Vojciak always aims to finish the fight early. He relies on his boxing skills rather than ground work, despite his long arms. With his weight, Vojciak is able to overpower his opponents and finish them off with a “ground-and-pound” technique. He has only lost once, due to a powerful strike in the stand-up position.
Martinek, on the other hand, relies on his powerful punches as his main weapon. He has honed his skills in the Russian ASA League before joining KSW. However, he has not been very active in the octagon in recent years, and this has resulted in a decline in his athletic form. This is evident from his several early defeats in recent fights.
In the upcoming battle, Vojciak will have the upper hand due to his physical condition. Martinek’s lack of mobility will limit his ability to engage in close contact with his opponent.
