Unseeded David Goffin and seventh seed Taylor Fritz will meet in the quarterfinals of the Shanghai Masters tournament.
Fritz rose to sixth place in the live rankings and fifth in the ATP, returning to form after losing three of the last four matches. He successfully overcame the third round in Shanghai without missing a single set and scored victories over Terence Atman, Yosuke Watanuka and Holger Rune.
In their previous meetings, both players had one win each, with the last game in 2021 ending in Fritz’s favor.
Goffin, who rose from a position outside the top 100 to 53rd place, scored several significant victories at the tournament, including a victory over second seed Alexander Zverev. If he wins, he will rise six positions.
The forecast for the match assumes that more than 19.5 games will be played, taking into account their previous meetings and the current form of both athletes.
