Handicap, as a type of bet, presupposes a pre-granted advantage or lag of one team to another, implying that this will not ultimately affect its victory. In other words, in order for Away -33.5 to play, the Guests must win with an advantage of at least 34 points. The handicap can be offered for the whole game or a specific part of it.
