Asian Handicap
What is the Asian handicap in sports betting?
How to bet with the Asian handicap?
How does the Asian handicap differ from other bets?
Asian handicap is a bet with odds. If it is a quaternary or double Asian handicap, then at this bet a total sum is divided into two parts, one of which plays with the nearest handicap in the positive direction, and the second – from the nearest to the negative one. Both bets become independent, but have the same odds (specified for the Asian handicap). Asian handicap is relevant both for an outcome of matches, and for total (Asian total).
For example, at the bet of 100 monetary units per Over (2.75) with the odds of 3.5, a forecaster gets two independent forecasts of 50 monetary units for each: Over (3) and Over (2.5). The odds for both parts will be the same – 3.5.
