Confirmation

Confirmation is the process of confirming the identity of a forecaster during registration in a betting shop.

To do this, different bookmakers use different methods. Some ask their customers to confirm e-mail, others insist on the mandatory indication of a contact phone number, and even require a passport or other identity documents. In this case, a bookmaker bears responsibility for confidentiality of personal data.
