Figure is an indicator in American-style bets indicating how much to bet to win net $100 or indicating your winnings at a $100 bet.

What are the odds in American bets?

Indicators in American odds are of the following types:

• Positive. In this case, the indicator will be plus. For example, if the score is +400, it means that by making a bet of $100, you can get a win of $400;
• Negative. In this case, the indicator will be a negative sign. For example, if the figure is -400, it means that you need to bet 400 dollars to win one hundred;
• Exactly 100. This means that by betting a hundred dollars, you win one hundred dollars too.
