Yellow card is a universal way of communicating footballers and referees for making punishments by referee.

Perhaps, because of the fact that people playing in different languages ​​speak in football, yellow cards were invented. They are pieces of cardboard or plastic, which during the match are stored in the pocket of the main referee of the match.

Yellow cards are used as a warning to players. Most often yellow cards are shown by the judge for such violations of rules, as a foul on the opponent, time-lag, hand-play, jamming for the goalkeeper at the time of entering the ball into the game, unsporting behavior, obscene statements, etc. You can get a yellow card as a player who is in the field, and a football player just preparing to enter the field. A yellow card can be shown, for example, for non-compliance with the replacement rules. If a player receives two yellow cards for the match, he is removed from the field. In most competitions, players are disqualified for several matches for a certain number of yellow cards “collected” during the tournament.
